A Proud History of Serving the Technology Industry
Originally built by Western Electric in 1970, 3000 Skyline was constructed to meet the rigorous engineering and design standards established by the AT&T family of companies. It was the first American manufacturer to win Japan’s prestigious Deming Prize for quality management. At its peak, Western Electric employed over 4,000 workers at 3000 Skyline. Before its conversion to a Tier IV data center facility, it was also home to AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Tyco Power Systems, and Lineage Power Systems. Virtually every element of the structure has been upgraded or replaced to ideally suit data center performance standards.
